Building A New Website
Building a website could be a frustrating and daunting task. For example, how much information is necessary? How many tabs? How many headers is too much? Man, I hate when I forget what I was thinking. How will the layout look? Is a website even necessary? What template should I use? These are all the questions that go thru my head. To be real, it's an annoying task but building the website this time on Squarespace 7.1 went smooth.
Choosing a color palette for your layout was a lifesaver. My old website had a black background with white text across all pages. I thought it match the previous banner. Please see below. This time I decided to use a new design as the banner that the homie Tion made for a hat a few months ago. I set it as the banner to try it out, and I liked it. There is a transparency feature that matches the layout of the site to your logo.
I use to spend a lot of time deciding what fonts to use. This time I used the default font set by the template. I made some minor changes but nothing major. Let me know what you think of the site. Also, if you're an artist, do you build your site? What do you use as a reference? Is there is something you would add?
Peace,
